This Web site will provide information and guidance to all Texas State students who would like to apply to any of the following types of professional schools:

Pre-Health Advising Appointment Online Booking System
If you have already met with Dr. Pesthy, you must only meet with Dr. Pesthy.
If you have already met with Dr. Banta, you must only meet with Dr. Banta.
If this will be your first pre-health advising appointment, please follow the guidelines within the appointment scheduling program to book an appointment with your designated pre-health advisor.

If you are interested in applying to nursing school or to any of the following health profession programs, please contact an advisor in the College of Health Professions Advising Center.

- clinical laboratory science
- communication disorders (speech pathology/audiology)
- healthcare administration
- health information management
- physical therapy
- radiation therapy
- respiratory care
- occupational therapy (not offered at Texas State, but pre-OT advising is available through the College of Health Professions Advising Office)
If you are interested in applying to pharmacy schools, please contact the pre-pharmacy advisor, Dr. Wendi David in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
If you are interested in applying to veterinary schools, please contact the pre-vet advisor, Dr. Elizabeth Benadvides in the Department of Agriculture. Dr. Benavides will begin advising in Fall 2015.
If you are interested in applying to athletic training programs, please contact an advisor in the College of Education Advising Center.
