1431 Organismal Biology. (3-3) This course provides the science major with a strong foundation in organismal biology, Mendelian and population genetics, evolution, and ecology. Topics will include taxonomy, patterns of diversity, ecosystems and human biology, behavior, reproductive biology, and comparative physiology. This course is required for all biology majors and is not recommended for non-majors. It is very difficult to take this course at the same time as Bio 1430. Prerequisites: None.
