The 32nd Annual Meeting of The Waterbird Society will be held 5-8 November 2008 on South Padre Island, Texas at the Sheraton South Padre Island Beach Hotel. This is the first time that the meeting has been held in Texas since 1981. Three full days of scientific sessions are planned including at least eight symposia, two plenary speakers and a poster session. Registration fee includes daily breakfast and lunch buffet as well as all social events, including a welcome reception, an evening poster session, and a society banquet.
* Hurricane Dolly Update - The Sheraton is undergoing repairs due to damage from Hurricane Dolly. We have been assured that the hotel and conference center will be ready in time so everything is still on schedule for the meeting.
